With LS swaps being all the rage for everything, that’s pretty vanilla.

I want one with a VR6. Or two.

Wouldn’t two make it a VW W12?

But it’s a delorean! And an LS4 has to count for something since it’s not the generic 5.3 Vortec or 6.0 LS2 or 5.7 LS1 or 6.2 LS3.

Or a W8 for that matter.

Needs a beetle flat four.

Precisely.

That might be cheaper.

Not in the long run lol

Air cooled Porsche Flat Six (that car must exist)

Well yeah. It’s a VW group product.

It is odd that they put a transverse V8 into a longitudinal layout, but it’s still like having a foot fetish - pretty normal. Call me when someone engineers one to have a wankel where John DeLorean intended.

10/10 would drive a 26B swapped DeLorean

Clearly these engines are made for this kind of application but I can’t seem to find anyone that has done this.

A vr6 would be pretty great

But that sound

It would solve the issue of length in the engine bay. Maybe.

But no power

There are some cars that just have to have a swap. Like the Ferrari 412, another car I would like but it needs a motor from a new Maserati GT (sounds right) and you have a cool grand tourer. I’ve seen one LS and I’m sure there are more.

Ah I remember watching this last night because it was in my recommended section on YouTube; you just have to love how versatile the LS is and what people will use it for.
